Have you ever wondered why certain things that need to be done or should be done just never quite get done? It’s almost as if there is some sort of invisible barrier holding us back from all the important yet incomplete intentions. The source of that interference is our own mind. Our thoughts often form those invisible barriers without us knowing it. They stop us in our tracks every time we attempt to reengage a task that seems just out of reach. Once we begin to identify those thoughts, we can begin to counter them with intentional thinking that dispels the self-imposed barriers. If the story we are telling ourselves holds us back, then maybe we just need to tell ourselves a different story. This is much easier said than done but it is also the only way to push past the interference of our own mind.
