The Power of Projection: Hope

When we are hopeful, it is hard to imagine that others are not. This allows us to act on that hope in a way that may actually inspire those that lack our sense of hope. This is where our projection works for us. If we knew how hopeless others really thought the situation was, we could be influenced to join their view. Instead, our own hope allows us to act regardless of circumstance so that others get to experience our hopeful actions and update their beliefs to join us.
