The fear of making a mistake could be the most prevalent reason a team’s potential is not reached. Risks are necessary because anything worth doing is likely iffy at best when we set out to do it. This includes trusting someone with something that they may not have a track record of success for. That track record has to start somewhere. Why not here, right now? We often forget that someone took that same chance on us at some point. Why are we then so stingy to pay that risk forward?
