Give someone else a turn…

Giving someone else a turn to make a decision or come up with a plan makes me a better teammate. When someone presents a process or plan do you automatically doubt it? I find this to be a natural human reaction to every plan that originates outside of ourselves. I have learned that I am a way better teammate if I resist the urge to second guess decisions and plans from the outset. If I let things play out, I might learn a new way to accomplish something. If I realize that my hunch about my own experience proves to be correct, it is much easier to offer an alternative when people are looking for one in the aftermath of a failed attempt. The point is that sometimes I know better and sometimes I don’t, even if it feels like I know better all the time.
