What’s on the agenda?

Meeting agendas should be lean. Info sharing can be sent ahead of the meeting so that the meeting time is reserved for clarifying questions and discussions. The leader must learn how to discern what is best left to an email and what needs to be discussed in person. Meetings become a negative experience when time is spent discussing what should be in an email and discussions are replaced by an email thread and misunderstood, requiring yet another meeting.
