Gratitude and Attitude
Great teams understand that hard work and effort can be a grind. It can get boring and exhausting. It can take away our free time and our family time. There are a lot of things that I have to do in my day as an adult but I have learned that most of those “have to” tasks are somebody’s “get to”. I “get to” do my job. I “get to” tuck my daughter in at the end of the day. I “get to” help out a teammate because I have a teammate to help out. Our attitudes and gratitudes are revealed in one little word in one phrase. Am I a “get to” or “have to” person today? We each have a daily choice.
