The Limit of Unbelief

A leader can only lead a team as far as they can believe. Belief motivates because it gives the hope of something to strive for. Without belief, everything loses its purpose and meaning. When that happens, teams begin to focus on maintaining the glory of the past. Talk begins to focus on the good old days instead of a bright future ahead. When this happens, a team has hit the limit of belief. Great teams always keep an eye on the future in a way that believes that there is always a better day ahead.
