Condescending Criticism

Not every ordinary team keeps the peace. Some teams swing the pendulum in the opposite direction and use criticism to control others on the team. They act as if their constant criticism qualifies them as an expert and therefore places them above their teammates. Criticism that is used for the purpose of control results in resentment and not improvement. Condescension limits a team because undermines unity when criticism is used to set one teammate over another.
