Sense of Urgency

Teams work best when they have a sense of urgency. This allows the team to see how limited time affects the decisions that they make. A shared sense of urgency helps everyone on the team to align their priorities. When priorities are aligned, then the internal competition for influence and resources cease, and the team can move effectively as one unit. When urgency is unmatched, parts of the team will prioritize differently than the rest of the team and they will work against each other.
