Losing the label…people can change.

Reputation is a powerful thing. This is why people give first impressions so much weight. Once we have been labeled, it is difficult to shed that label. The belief that people can change is not the default for most people. Great teams separate themselves from ordinary teams because they fight the urge to permanently label someone. If people can change, then this means people can improve. If they can improve, they no longer deserve the label. That’s great news for any team.
