Mine or Ours?
It’s easy to identify a lack of generosity in others. We see it when people avoid eye contact with pan handlers. We see it when a toddler refuses to share a toy with another kid. We see it when people make giving more complicated that it needs to be. It took a lot of frustration to realize I was a terrible recruiter because I didn’t like to share. I wanted the team to be mine and not ours.
