Resisting the Interfering Thought

Every team has to start somewhere. It usually starts with an individual who has an idea so big that they can’t do it alone. Too often our big ideas lead to big tasks that we do not want to share. Maybe I have difficulty asking for help. My pride can lead me to a mindset of self-sufficiency. Maybe I believe that I am better than anyone else at implementing my idea and I can’t risk sharing it with others who are less competent. Maybe I am afraid that no one will want to help me and that risk of rejection is not worth sharing my idea with someone else. Whatever the reason, teams often get limited by our interfering thoughts. Just start despite all the reasons not to.
