Be a person…and be a team.

Being a team of individuals requires some understating of how to relate to each other in different scenarios. Teammates should operate in their roles when functioning as a team with a task. When they are off the field or out of the office, they should be able to remove themselves from their position on the team and relate personally to each other. Creating time for both takes discipline because sometimes it can be difficult to recognize that we are needed as a friend when we are focused on a task. Great teams carve out times to work together and be together.

  1. This can be especially difficult in a church environment if you are driven to accomplish a goal.  Dick Hamilton
