Work ethic requires a big picture.

When I know how my effort and contribution fits into a whole, I am more likely to deliver as promised because there is a built in system of accountability. I know that my team is working alongside me and my compromises may cause them extra work and time. This is a huge part of the ethic in a “work ethic”. Most people think that being lazy is the opposite of a good work ethic. I believe that a lack of consideration of others is the state of mind that allows a person to choose the lazy way out. Great teams make sure the team sees the big picture so they can truly work together.
