Clear Direction

We abdicate strong leadership when we fail to clearly communicate specific outcomes. Leaders often confuse micromanagement with clear direction when they shy away from communicating exactly what they are looking for from a teammate at the start of a project. Micromanagement happens when a leader demands his method instead of only communicating his desired outcome.
