Out of the Loop

Powerlessness is a terrible feeling. Have you ever found out about something the wrong way? It makes you feel out of the loop and insignificant. Great teammates that feel out of the loop say so. It’s often not a personal attack to leave someone out and is probably the result of an honest oversight. However, sometimes the team evolves to a place where everyone doesn’t need to know everything. That can be a tough transition as people are forced to evaluate their value to the team from the way information is shared with them. Great teams move carefully through this to make sure expectations are met or adjusted when it comes to communication.
