Surviving the Learning Curve

New is fun, but it’s also awkward. Whenever a team tries something new, it is important to understand that there will be a learning curve. We often overestimate our ability to master new skills and protocols and thus get unnecessarily disappointed when we are not as awesome initially as we imagined. New endeavors will always require a time of learning the new skills. Great teams expect the challenges of a learning curve and therefore leave room for development during that crucial time.

  1. Seems like this is especially true at The Brook right now. Hang in there.
