The Proper Response to “Help”
Every team knows who to trust with what responsibility. When someone joins a team, it’s important to have clear job descriptions so that each teammate can contribute by doing their part. What happens when someone on the team is lagging behind? Great teams will jump in and help that teammate. That’s what teammates do. It’s up to the teammate that was helped to acknowledge the help and to do their best to make sure that no one else has to do their job again. Instead, that teammate should work hard to catch up so that they can be a help to another teammate in a similar time of need.
