Destructive Talent

The team dynamic is the vehicle of team success. Sacrificing the team locker room for talent is like attaching a rocket to a race car. The car may go fast initially but eventually the rocket will tear the car apart. Great teams filter recruits for more than the talent to be gained. A great question to ask is how good of a team player is this talented person? Will they add more than just their talent to the mix of personalities on the team? A team that is caused to endure a talented but poor teammate will never last.
