Exposing the Blind Spot

True problem solvers are team oriented. Everyone has a blind spot so the best way to solve a team problem is to collaborate with a team of people to gain multiple perspectives. Problem solvers are not afraid of working with people who may disagree with them because they are aware of the blind spot a rival opinion may fill in with their own perspective. If a teammate demonstrates a need to be agreed with then they are likely not a problem solver. They are actually protecting their blind spot because they have made up their mind that they have the only viable solution. Teamwork can threaten the lone wolf’s solution. Great teams want all the options on the table and they know that collaboration is the only way to accomplish that.
