Goals vs Mission

Great goals are achievable. Missions shouldn’t be. What happens after the mission is accomplished? Does everyone go home? If your team is temporary in nature, then a temporary mission is good. If the team is meant for a broader and more ongoing purpose, then the mission should be just as broad and high so as to motivate constant aspirations.
