Grudges are team killers. Grudges happen when we have not been willing to forgive and repair with a teammate. Grudges slowly destroy the dynamic of a team because it taints the thought-life of a person. If I hold a grudge, I begin to see life through cynical glasses. Everything begins to remind me of why I am so resentful. Those resentful reminders begin to fill my mind. The problem is that resentful grudge thoughts take up valuable space in our mind, space that is better used for thoughts about problem solving or other creative activities that would benefit the team. There is nothing more disappointing than finding out that a teammate has been holding grudge because there are few things that are more wasteful.
