Consequences of Preference

We all have our favorite way of doing things. The problem is that our preferences can limit our experience. There is an American myth that says that we can have it all with no consequences. When we live a life dictated by our preferences, we inevitably limit our experience. Saying yes to one thing means saying no to another. Our preferences can come at a very high cost. It’s not until we risk our comfort to try something new that we truly gain the additional experience that often leads to a completely new preference.
