Managing Contingencies

I have noticed that I see the world differently than most people. When I plan or observe a situation, I see multiple possibilities rather than just one that seems most likely. It can cause a great deal of anxiety if I begin to make up my mind too quickly that the negative outcomes are more likely. I have learned that delaying conclusions until the last possible moment is the best way to keep worry from getting the best of me. Scenarios are almost never as bad or as good as my imagination attempts to predict so I remind myself to place my money somewhere in the middle of winning the lottery and a zombie apocalypse.
