Common Sense Killer: Untrained

The most innocent reason a team may not have common sense practices is because they are simply inexperienced and untrained. They don’t know what they don’t know. Great teammates who are coachable will not be in this situation for long. Teammates who are stubborn enough to reinvent the wheel will struggle in survival mode like the cave men who actually discovered it. We all can learn from each other and when we apply best practices to fit our team context, we can spend the energy to further develop our practices to reach new levels rather than settling for discovering what others have already figured out.
