Objective and Subjective
Every effective team must assess their circumstances by separating the objective from the subjective. The two can never mix. By their very nature, they are completely opposite. Teams get into trouble when they are objective when they should instead be subjective. The opposite is also true. Facts are objective and reasons for facts should stay objective. When we begin to guess, we too often rely on feeling over reason, thus tainting our objective observation with subjective conjecture of motive.
