Every team must evaluate its performance over time. If a team fails to take an honest look at itself, it has a bleak future. It’s not always about achieving more or improving performance. It might be a hard look at the team values that are talked about but no longer represent reality. It might be an analysis of performance or a pattern of behavior that may be causing a windfall of success. It my be an analysis of why we have hit the proverbial “wall” as a team. Honest self-reflection takes discipline to see through what we want to see and accept what is true.
