Pros and Cons

Teams are put together to join forces for a common cause. That cause can create unity and loyalty. The actual need for the team is for some grand purpose. Maybe it’s winning a championship and making history. Maybe it’s to innovate the next “big thing”. Whatever it is, frustrations will arise because a team is, by nature, a group of individuals. Each individual has to work to make the benefit of working with a group of others worth more than working alone. When we work alone we don’t have to deal with other opinions or expectations. Teamwork scales our effort so we join and learn how to work with others. Pros and cons…
