Why So Busy?

If busy isn’t always productive, why do we find ourselves there so often? Why do we choose busy over other productive states? Busy looks better than doing nothing. It is also easier than figuring out the difficult issue that is looming on the horizon. Busy can allow us to hide in plain sight of our teammates without the risk of contribution.
