Is Busy a Virtue?

The purpose of a team is to accomplish more together. Busy doesn’t always equate to productivity. I am always perplexed when I hear someone boast about how many unanswered emails are in their inbox. That is a sign of how busy that person currently is while having nothing to do with how much has actually been accomplished. A high number in the red dot above the email app is a sign of productivity limited by busy work that seems to be piling up.
