The Objective Subjective
Many people claim that they want to be objective all the time as if that’s a better way to live. Being objective usually means that we are trying to feel less and think more. The problem with that is even though our feelings are subjective, they objectively happen to us. They are the result of real thoughts spawned from real circumstances. Teams must create an environment where both thinking and feeling has their place. Thoughts and emotions are useful tools. Thoughts direct us and emotion should focus a team. Healthy emotion can unify a team like nothing else.
