When we go on a diet, we are declaring that for a certain period of time, we will be very careful and intentional about what we will eat and drink. The diet is designed for the desired result. The reality is that we are always on a diet. Our diet is simply our consistent food choices over a period of time. It’s just that we are often designing our diet for taste and comfort rather than health and weight loss.

This is true with everything we consume which includes information, images, and perspectives.
