The Automatic Mad Lib…

Our brain works hard to help us process images and facts into an instantaneous perspective that bring the quickest understanding. Our vision is a good example of this. Our eyes rarely actually see the entire picture we recognize in our mind. Our brain fills in the blanks with prior knowledge and associations. As this automatic Mad Lib happens in the background of our mind’s eye, it saves us time. The best example of this is our amazing ability to recognize a popular brand or logo with only a small portion of it being visible to us.
