Treacherous Teammates

We all have individual desires and agendas. These agendas are not always wrong or sinful. Treachery doesn’t usually manifest until our agenda conflicts with another. This is often the case between teammates. Teammates are supposed to work for mutual benefit towards the common goal. Part of a teammate’s job is balancing the tension of doing our best so that the team can compete rather than competing with teammates in order to shine individually. When we don’t balance that well, we become treacherous teammates that spend energy towards our specific goals apart from the common goal.
