My Bad

When a teammate clearly makes a mistake and then doesn’t own up to it in a timely manner without being prompted, they lose credability with their teammates. No one should expect someone to operate in a perfect mistake-free manner, but when mistakes are made, they need to be acknowledged and owned. When teammates do not acknowledge their mistakes, they communicate that they either believe they are not accountable to their team for their actions or that they are hopelessly naive about the ramifications of their actions. Either way their credability suffers.
