Bare Minimum

What is the standard? Ordinary teams see the standard as the bare minimum that must be achieved to justify a stop in effort. This perspective sees a goal as a wall to touch and not climb over. This mindset is constantly on the lookout for the largest reward for the least amount of effort. How lazy can I be and still be perceived as adequate? Is this the type of teammate you want to be? These teammates don’t usually get rewarded well because it’s silly to reward someone for doing what is expected of them. Rewards should be for those that exceed expectations.
