Problems to Solve
Teams come together to solve problems. What happens when all of the problems are solved? Wouldn’t that be boring? I think so. Why then do we see problems as an inconvenience? Isn’t it because problems interrupt our fantasy of perfect plans? Most of the teams we are on are tied to our livelihood. The problems I solve this week are exactly why I am paid for my time. Problems are the work and the reason we are compensated to be on the team. If that is the case, complaining about problems seems like complaining about the reason we have a job.
