The Path to Best

Best can bankrupt you. This is because best is desirable, but it doesn’t happen overnight. Once a team reckons with this fact, they have three choices:
1) Overextend
2) Settle
3) Diligently work the plan
Patience is key to accomplishing the best for the team. Wanting it now, when we can’t afford it, does seem to be as American as apple pie. It’s important to see the best teams as teams that set themselves apart through hard work and patience over time. They managed the tension between settling for what they can do now and striving for a better tomorrow.
