Anger is Amoral
“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke
Just because anger can harm others, doesn’t mean it has to. There are few feelings that empower us more than a righteous indignation. It’s our job to make sure it’s righteous before we act. It’s similar to aiming a weapon. It would be false to assume that because crimes of passion occur, heroic acts of passion cannot also occur. To witness wrong and feel nothing is a dysfunction. Great teams are righteously angered enough to right wrongs. It is immoral to sit passive and tolerate less than best because less than best is wrong.
