If at every juncture I find myself thinking that I am the moral compass of a team, I might actually be playing on the wrong side. I am a great teammate when I can disagree without questioning motivation. I am not saying that there aren’t bad teams with bad people on them. If you figure out that you are on one of those teams, you should quit as soon as you can and find a team that better aligns with your values. However, chances are that the moral dilemma is more of a question of fit rather than right or wrong. In that case, you should quit just as fast and choose to belong to a team that better matches your values. Same ending with a common denominator.
