Who really crossed the line?

In our day and age, the line between immoral and amoral behavior seems to be shifting. With an enhanced ability to customize our daily information feed, we can now surround ourselves with everything we agree with and avoid, unfriend, hide, or report anything we don’t. This creates the tendency to lean towards more extreme views. How do we know that our view has shifted to an edge of a spectrum? It’s usually when we see a different point of view as not just incorrect, but morally wrong. We think that another way of thinking is crossing the line. The truth is, more often than not, we have just crossed the line in our own judgement. Demonizing the opposition usually leads to a justified indignation with the other point of view. This can divide a team and anything that divides a team crosses the line.
