Everything in common?

A team, by definition, is a group of individuals that work together towards a common purpose with common values. That’s where the common should end. Ordinary teams recruit too many people that look or think too much like them. Great teams understand that people who have a different perspective bring added value to a team. They don’t threaten who the team is by seeing things through a different lens. Acceptance and inclusiveness are attributes of a great team. Great teams are made of people who choose to belong together despite their differences and not because they have everything in common.
