Nobody likes a ball hog.
I have noticed that great teams and leaders never monopolize authority. They hold everything loosely to make sure that the best person is empowered to make a play at the opportune moment. The obvious place this happens is when sports teams move the ball around to include more teammates in a game plan rather than focusing on a single great player. Nobody likes a ball hog on the field or court. This is true in life outside of sports. Micromanagers, lone wolves, and non-delegators are the ball hogs in life and they are usually resented by their teammates in the same way that ball hogs are on the court.
