Locker Room

A healthy locker room is key to any team. It’s the scene for all of the behind the scenes conversations. Great teams never neglect the locker room. They make sure that the environment is both safe and healthy for the team to decompress and debrief the results of a practice or game. When the locker room is healthy, the team can face any adversity. When the locker room is neglected, the smallest hiccup can create an environment of frustration, distrust, and bitterness. Every team has a “locker room” even if it’s not an actual place with lockers. It’s the place where the community of the team sits. Great teams identify it, cultivate it, and live by it.
