The Wrong Kind of Favoritism

Dan Pierce/ December 19, 2015/ Teambuilding/ 0 comments

Accountability is tough enough without favoritism and partiality poisoning the pot. Unfortunately, we have all seen people on a team being treated differently than the others for the wrong reasons. Maybe it is nepotism or friendship but some team members get special treatment. This makes accountability difficult in any team dynamic because of the pervasive ill will that it breeds between teammates. Leaders lose credibility and teammates begin to compete with each other instead of the opponent.
