What is my response to a disappointing experience? Do I acknowledge it? Do I own it? Do I do everything I can to fix it? Fixing things seems like the best attitude to have when the team faces a disappointment. It makes us look as if we are responsive. Fixing things also makes us feel as if we are making atonement for whatever disappointment we may have caused our teammates or the people our teammates serve. It takes discretion to understand the appropriate response to a situation.
