Best, Bad and Everything in Between
Great teammates are secure enough to express an idea and have it rejected. That may sound harsh but in reality that is what it feels like to voice an idea that isn’t accepted or implemented. Unfortunately, schools have sheltered the self-esteem of children so much that when they grow up, they believe in the fallacy that “every idea is a good idea”. The team must be committed to find the best idea from all the “good” ideas and accept the fact that some ideas are in fact bad ones.
